Flor-wThe Park Entrance already has two improvements attached to it: a [blue]merch kiosk[/blue] and a [green]generator[/green]. The attractions have [red]two empty improvement slots[/red] each. Flor-wThe bottom of the tiles lists the name, operation requirement and reward. As an example, the [green]Park Entrance[/green] needs *any coloured die* of *any value* to operate and gives you *1 star*. Flor-wIn the *full game*, every player will also have an [green]administrator[/green] and a [blue]skill[/blue]. To start the game, you pick one of each. Flor-wLet's select the [green]first Administrator[/green] and the [blue]Pinwheel skill[/blue] by clicking on them. [tip] The Administrator will make it cheaper to buy improvements. Flor-wNext, we get to choose the first unique attraction to add to our park. As this is part of the setup, we don't need to pay the cost in the upper left corner.1container4630c3ddf0821700
Flor-wLet's select [red]Super Spin[/red] and place it on the empty spot above *Twister*. While building new attractions, you have to stay within the boundaries of your park. The is a V-shape starting from the entrance. For your ease, the interface only shows [green]available spaces[/green]. [tip] Super Spin requires a yellow die between 1 - 3 and any coloured die between 3 - 6, it rewards *4 Stars*.2hex_1_2_4630c3ddf0821710hex_1_2_4 6
Flor-wThe setup is finished, *time to start playing!* Every round has six phases: 1. *Plan* (mandatory, simultaneous) 2. *Welcome* (mandatory, in turn order) 3. *Expand* (optional, in turn order) 4. *Improve* (optional, simultaneous) 5. *Operate* (free choice, simultaneous) 6. *Upkeep* (mandatory, simultaneous) I will explain each phase in due time.2archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment630c3f3ef40aa00
Flor-wThis is *Phase 1: Plan*. Now, we will select two staff members who will help us with their special abilities. Note that they each have a value and income listed in the top left corner. Let's quickly look at all their abilities.3container_cards630c3f3ef40aa00
Flor-wThe *Ticket Agent* works during Phase 6: Upkeep. He moves a single value 1 die back to the entrance of the park and changes the value to any number you like.4staff_card_1630c3f3ef40aa00

Flor-wThe turn order updates according to the value of your selected staff cards. The lowest value goes first. In case of a tie, the positions are switched. We selected our *Guide (3)* and *Builder (5)* for a total value of *8*. Our opponent selected their *Guide (3)* and *Manager (6)* for a total value of *9*. Flor-wWe also received income. This is based on the selected staff cards. The [red]Guide[/red] gives us *3 money* and the [blue]Builder[/blue] gives us *4 money*. As mentioned, you can find this income on the cards under their value. Flor-wNow is a good time to talk about the [red]amenity icons[/red]. These are the yellow icons on the right side of the attractions. Flor-w*2 matching amenities:* Change the value of any guest in the park to any value. *3 matching amenities:* Draw a new guest die and add it to the Park Entrance with value 4. *4 matching amenities:* Build an attraction from the discard pile for free. Flor-wYou can also recruit a new mascot in this phase. The cost is always 5 money unless you selected the Mascot staff card. This will give you a discount of 2 money. Flor-wDepending on the attraction, you pay a different cost to improve it. This is printed on the tile. Every attraction has *0, 1, or 2 empty spots* for improvements. You can never build the same improvement twice on one attraction. And you are limited to *three of each*. Flor-wLet's first improve our *Twister* with a Merch Kiosk to make more money. You build it by selecting the space that you want to improve. Subsequently, you select the [red]Merch Kiosk[/red] improvement from the menu. That's the T-shirt with 2 money icon. [tip] This will only cost us 1 money instead of 3 money. Flor-wTo operate, you must assemble a party of dice that fulfil the requirements of the attraction that they're on. All of these dice will reduce 1 in value. Then, you must move one of the used dice to an adjacent attraction. [tip] If a die was at value 1, it will be removed from the park.2parkboard_1630d67180e93900
Flor-wLet's start easy. The Park Entrance can operate with any die of any value. Select the [blue]blue die[/blue] to add it to the party. Next, click on the destination tile or select the destination in the menu. In this case, we will send the guest to the [blue]Duck Pond[/blue].3parkboard_1630d67180e93910operateN 8 hex_dice_1_S4_3_2 7
Flor-wBy operating the Park Entrance, we will receive 1 Star. Also, since it has a [red]Merch Kiosk[/red] improvement, we will earn 2 money. Finally, an [blue]activation cube[/blue] was added to the lightning icon of the tile. !!! According to the manual, points and money for operating will be awarded during Phase 6: Upkeep. Flor-wWe have two options to resolve this issue. - Firstly, you can use a *Map token* to move a die 1 space without operating an attraction. You can do this as many times as you have unused map tokens. Flor-wIn this case, we'll choose to enlist the services of the Guide. - Click [red]Use Guide[/red] in the menu. - Then select the die that you want to move. So select the [green]yellow die with value 5[/green]. - Lastly, chose the destination. We'll move the guest to the [blue]Eplorers' Trail[/blue]. Flor-wSelect both of the dice to form a party. Since this is a party with multiple dice, we must also select which die we want to move. You can see that the first time you click, the die gets a [green]green highlight[/green]. If you click a second time, the highlight will turn [red]red[/red]. Flor-wLet's finish the action. We want to move the yellow die with value 5 to [blue]Super Spin[/blue].
