19 mar 2020 14:06 • This is a very good suggestion. This game has too many instances where selecting dice and a card to perform an action results in lost dice without any results.

24 abr 2020 17:46 • Yes! We need an undo option! Currently, I have chosen a die and have chosen to place my meeple with the die. And then when I choose where my meeple will come from, it tells me I can’t actually do the action because the neutral player’s meeple can’t be ousted twice, and I’ve been stuck with nothing to do for two days!

I've seen this issue cause unwanted redeployment by new and experienced players. A confirmation or undo dialog for this case would be nice.

3 ago 2020 3:30 • We played this game earlier today and everyone agreed that the lack of undo/confirmation before altering game state made it a frustrating experience. We won't be playing it again, too many of the cards have ways to accidentally invoke them when trying to activate cubes and a single misclick will alter people's end score significantly.

I wanna turn 3 dice up side down, but I clicked the button twice.
Then, I just only lose 8 influence points... :(

31 ago 2021 10:10 • I have been playing Troyes with a group of friends for a few months now, and in that time every one of us has had at least one accidental mis-click. The current UI is brutally punishing, and using it on mobile/tablet is especially risky -- one misplaced finger can irrevocably destroy your turn.
I recently played the beta of Castles of Burgundy, and every move there requires a "commit" to confirm, and offers an "undo" option, which is perfect. Please can the same be added to Troyes.

29 nov 2021 12:03 • Please add confirm button for dice rerolls and other actions. It's very easy to accidentally click on these and with no undo it's very frustrating.

31 mai 2022 3:29 • At least once every game I think I am making a correct move then accidentally misclick a building or card after selecting dice, and then have to waste the move completely.
Really need a "commit" button to confirm a move and an "undo" button to reset state to as it was at the start of your turn. No unfair advantage would be gained.
It would have the added benefit of allowing players (especially new players) to explore the outcomes of potential moves.
Please add this to Troyes.

6 fev 2023 23:55 • Please add an undo option. There are some instances where in a turn-based game it's really easy to forget certain things which then cause a mess - or even to just click the wrong area and do the complete wrong action by mistake. These examples spring to mind as things that've led me to losing games through errors that I wouldn't have made either in real-life, or with an undo-button on BGA:
* Clicked to add a worker into a building/card when either out of workers or out of influence - this means I've then had to take another worker from elsewhere when I wouldn't have made such a move if I'd realised.... . In an IRL game I'd have the meeples obviously sat in front of me and would know, and not have to check where they're shown on a screen....
* I once pressed the wrong bit of my screen on my phone. What should have been a great move of 3 yellow-dice to score a load of points led to my finger grazing the bit of the board to convert yellow dice into money, and I totally wasted my chance to win by a physical mistake...

7 set 2023 14:20 • I agree with all these reports. The lack of an undo button forces one to take one's worker from elsewhere when one could just choose a different option. This is the third unforgiving game I've played. In real life you would just realise oh yes can't do that and choose another action.

4 out 2023 13:25 • Indeed, even just a Cancel button that lets you go back one step before applying the action would be enough. I guess that's simpler than having a fully implemented confirm/undo button at the end of your turn.

8 jan 2024 19:20 • Troyes is so far behind everything now on BGA, it really needs an interface update. At the very least, undo buttons would make it far more fun to play.

21 jan 2025 22:11 • Please add an undo. Check the troyes forum - someone had already implemented a fix. All you have to do is push that fix.
If metrics show that troyes doesn't have a lot of players to be supported... maybe they all quit because of no undo.
