what size screen? rational for the sequence is to keep your hand cards close to your collection cards. keep hand cards close to the perches.
if able to see all game elements on the screen could see preference to adjust sequence, hand, collection, other players.
if enough interest could look into adding a player preference to adjust sequence.

At first I was irritated too, but I've found that the current arrangement actually makes sense.
Because the birds are placed at the bottom, you may not be able to see the top row (of your opponent) very well (anymore) - but you can still see your own collection and hand cards (at least on a PC, not tested on a mobile device).
