In the regular Timeline game, when playing with young players, you can adjust the number of cards that players start with. Would it be possible to implement that as a setup option for the competitive game? Say for example I could start with 6 if I was playing with newer players or my young relatives.
It is definitely in the rules for the older printings of timeline in the metal tins, but haven't checked if the Twist rules mention this -
