I believe the Android BGA app uses phone. I have an older Moto phone, but the previous game (Next Station: London) is super smooth.
Is there anything different about the rendering of Next Station: Tokyo compared to Next Station: London that might cause lag (e.g. tons of elements or nested layers)? It was very laggy when scrolling at the very start of the game, so it's not even an issue of many lines already being drawn. -

The only thing I can think of is the little bounce css animation on the "blue" symbol part of power cards.
It happens all the time that my board is visible.
