On my turn, I had to purchase items or pass. The pass button wasn't on screen. I refreshed the page and it still wasn't there. I closed and reopened the browser and it still wasn't there. The only solution my opponent and I came to was them ending the game at the end of my timer since I couldn't progress my turn. I just don't want my karma rating to go down for not playing in my time frame.
