This is an issue with the new Beta version of the game. I was playing with the Font of Power, Alchemical Workshop and stored a pearl and 2 gold on it. When I tried to withdraw it the next turn, I got a warning that I was going to lose Victory Points, though that doesn't happen when you withdraw from this font.
