However when I tried to click on the materials icons, an error message saying something like 'this action isn't allowed' appeared. I was unable to complete the action, and no raw materials were created.

F5 did not solve problem
The problem occurred every time I tried to perform the action of building number 210
This also happened on table #545230171
I am able to select the building, place a worker, then it errors, regardless of which resource I select.
Occurs consistently - even on multiple devices.

Happened repeatedly on different rounds.
Happened when using a genius to take the action in place of the engineer.
Happened on iOS - reloading/refreshing does noting.
Attempting to take different resources generates the same error.

Building 210 is worthless that way :(
F5 didn't solve the issue
after i encountered this issue, no other player in the game could pay for an Anomaly
