Story-tiles!
Introduced by the Moors, azulejos (originally white and blue ceramic tiles) were fully embraced by the Portuguese when their king Manuel I, on a visit to the Alhambra palace in Southern Spain, was mesmerized by the stunning beauty of the Moorish decorative tiles. The king, awestruck by the interior beauty of the Alhambra, immediately ordered that his own palace in Portugal be decorated with similar wall tiles. As a tile-laying artist, you have been challenged to embellish the walls of the Royal Palace of Evora.
Tiles to play!
Azul is a tile laying game where players will take turns choosing matching tiles from a central stack of 5+ (depending on player count) that act as suppliers. You are trying to get sets of 1-5 on your player board. At the end of a round you will move over one tile from each area on your board that is completely filled. The catch is each row can only have one color and if that tile's color is placed in your grid already you can’t place that same color there again. The game ends after the first player completes a horizontal line in their grid and at that point the player with the most points will be the victor!
**Azul **will go down as a classic and every gamer should try it at least once, especially at 2 players! The 2 player game is an exercise in strategy, figuring out how to manipulate your opponent into giving you the turn you want. You will find yourself thinking 2-3 turns ahead however sometimes that may backfire and lose you that important match you needed.

Azulejos de história!
Introduzidos pelos mouros, os azulejos (originalmente peças de cerâmica em azul e branco) tiveram total adesão pelos portugueses quando o rei D. Manuel I, numa visita ao palácio da Alhambra no sul de Espanha, ficou fascinado pela perfeição deslumbrante da cerâmica mourisca.
O rei, maravilhado com a beleza do interior da Alhambra, mandou imediatamente decorar o seu próprio palácio em Portugal com azulejos semelhantes.
Como pintor, foi desafiado a embelezar as paredes do Palácio Real de Évora.
Peças para jogar!
Azul é um jogo de colocação de peças em que os jogadores se revezam escolhendo as peças correspondentes de uma pilha central de 5+ (dependendo da contagem de jogadores) que atuam como fornecedores.
Você está tentando obter conjuntos de 1-5 no tabuleiro do jogador.
No final de cada rodada, você moverá uma peça de cada área do tabuleiro que está completamente preenchida.
O problema é que cada linha só pode ter uma cor e se a cor desse bloco já estiver colocada na sua parede, não poderá colocar a mesma cor lá novamente.
O jogo termina depois do primeiro jogador completar uma linha horizontal na sua parede e, nesse momento, o jogador com mais pontos será o vencedor!
Azul vai chegar como um clássico e todos os jogadores devem tentar pelo menos uma vez, especialmente com 2 jogadores!
O jogo para 2 jogadores é um exercício de estratégia, descobrindo como manipular seu oponente para lhe dar a chance que você deseja.
Vai dar por si a pensar 2 a 3 voltas à frente, mas às vezes isso pode sair pela culatra e perder aquela correspondência importante de que você precisava.
