Strategies for new players can typically be broken up into two camps, high value kingdoms and rush kingdoms. High value kingdoms will typically accrue cards with high gold value in an attempt to win. Rush kingdoms purchase many low gold value cards quickly to effectively ramp up to the 7 card and end the game before other players can acquire the cards they would like to purchase.
