If you are at the max of Max reputation (5.5) and gain 1 reputation (e.g. from a monument), it currently gets wasted. I think it'd be great to give the player the option to pay an additional rep to gain £100. I imagine if you gain an odd number of reputation when at 5.5, the same issue of 1 wasted rep comes up, but I don't know for sure.
