The Hyena card is only counts Black powers in Tableau and on Island card. It does not include Black Power on Climate Card. My Island card (Nishinoshima Island) had one black power and my Climate card (Cold Arid Desert Climate) also had one. As soon as I played my first card (Indian Oyster) which had a black power, I gained the Spotted Hyena bonus. That should not happen until I play my next black power card.
